Not only were they ready for a website, they were ready to expand from Facebook into several social media channels. Due to the nature of the product, good quality images were hard to come by. I had to put on my amateur food photographer cap dozens of times to get this off the ground.
In addition to a very active Facebook page and their website, we established a broad social media footprint on: Twitter, YouTube, Google+, and Pinterest. In the restaurant business, review sites can make or break you. Online reputation management comes into play in a big way here. So, we also made sure our branding and messaging was consistent on sites like Yelp, TripAdvisor and UrbanSpoon.
Going beyond food photography, this project also requires lots of graphic design in the form of print ready media for newspaper and magazine ads, coupon books, menu handouts and merchandising tags.
